Mr. Mofeed Zaitoun — Founder & CEO of Xpress Marine Inc.

Mr. Mofeed Zaitoun comes from a distinguished family-owned business legacy dating back to the early 1900s in Hebron, Palestine. In the 1940s, his family moved to Jordan to expand their import and export operations, establishing strong roots in the produce trade. By the 1980s, the business expanded into the maritime sector through ship chandelling operations in Aqaba, forming the foundation of today’s reputable marine services tradition.

In 2009, Mr. Zaitoun earned his International Business Diploma in Tampa, Florida. Shortly after, he served as Vice President & Head of International Relations at Adasco For Supplies Group, where he played a major role in developing international partnerships and overseeing large-scale marine supply operations. Key accomplishments during his tenure include: • Supplying naval vessels of the United States, Canada, France, Italy, and Japan at Aqaba Naval Base. • Building strategic coordination with the Royal Jordanian Navy. • Delivering chandelling services to top international cruise lines such as Carnival UK, MSC, Costa, Holland America Group, Disney Cruise Line, NCL, AIDA Cruises, and more. Beyond maritime operations, he pioneered major initiatives in Jordan’s food import and FMCG sector: • First to import Ecuadorian bananas into Jordan. • Introduced U.S. apples and California oranges into the Jordanian market. • Expanded distribution of juices, long-life milk, and essential FMCG goods used by both local markets and merchant navy vessels. In 2015, he earned a Master’s Degree in International Transportation Management & Advanced Supply Chain (Marine Industry) from SUNY Maritime College, New York, deepening his specialization in maritime logistics and global supply chain systems. In 2019, Mr. Zaitoun joined Global Ship Services, where he strengthened partnerships and expanded supply-chain networks across the U.S. Gulf of Mexico region—improving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with international maritime standards. Today, as CEO of Xpress Marine Inc., he leads with a commitment to 24/7 reliability, transparency, and excellence—serving vessels across the United States and worldwide.
